Marianist Retreat Center’s Upcoming Events

We invite you to prayerfully consider attending any – or all – of these events here at our retreat center that are open to the general public –

We consider our Inspire Monthly Marianist Prayer Gatherings to be mini-retreats, as they include praise and worship led by local musicians, inspiring messages from gifted presenters, group discussion, time for mingling, and snacks. These events are free, and all are welcome. Please note that we generally meet once every month, though days and dates vary so that we don’t disturb guests who have reserved our facility.

Friday thru Sunday, October 11 – October 13, 2024 we will be hosting a Seeing God in All Creation retreat based upon Laudato Si, which is Pope Francis’ second encyclical letter, subtitled “on care for our common home.” The encyclical, and therefore this retreat, is addressed to “every person living on this planet” and calls for urgent action to protect the Earth from human damage, while identifying the current ecological crisis as a “summons to profound interior conversion.” Diana Gorham, a vowed Lay Marianist, will be presenting a retreat along with a dynamic team.

Friday thru Sunday, December 6 – 8, 2024 is our Annual Advent Retreat, and this year’s theme is The Word is Still Becoming Flesh. Our presenters are the veteran retreat leaders, the terrific trio, of Steve Givens, Lucia Signorelli, and Fr. Tom Santen – we can’t wait to see what they have to share with us!

Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9 am – 7 pm is our second annual Seeds of Healing Retreat, which is designed to help anyone who experienced loss of a loved one to suicide or any other tragedy, since the pain is something that no one can prepare for. The roller coaster of emotions is enough to make one doubt God’s presence in the situation. Join us in the journey through all of our emotions and come out renewed with confidence in God’s love and care for each one of us.

Friday and Saturday, January 24 & 25, 2025 we will hold our first annual Scrapbooking Event. More details will be forthcoming, but for now we encourage you to mark your calendar!

Friday and Saturday, June 13 & 14, 2025 we will once again host our Hearts of Mary Retreat for Mothers and Daughters! This retreat will begin at 7 pm on Friday evening for those who would like to experience a bit of programming and spend the night. Though if it works better for you to come on Saturday only, that would be great too! The retreat will end at 4:30 pm on Saturday just in case you’d like to attend 5:00 Mass at your home parish or a parish near our retreat center.

Friday thru Sunday, July 11 – 13, 2025 we will host our fourth annual Married Couple’s Retreat. Whether you’ve been married one day, one hundred years, or anywhere in between – all are invited to attend. Please mark your calendar, and look for more details coming in the future.

Monday & Tuesday, August 4 & 5, 2025 will be our fourth annual Educator CPR (Come, Pray, Recharge) Retreat. Many previous attendees have found this retreat to be an excellent way to spiritually prepare for the upcoming school year. Please mark your calendar and look for upcoming details in the future.
