Marianist Retreat Center’s Upcoming Events
We invite you to prayerfully consider attending any – or all – of these events here at our retreat center that are open to the general public –
We consider our Inspire Monthly Marianist Prayer Gatherings to be mini-retreats, as they include praise and worship led by local musicians, inspiring messages from gifted presenters, group discussion, time for mingling, and snacks. These events are free, and all are welcome. Please note that we generally meet once every month, though days and dates vary so that we don’t disturb guests who have reserved our facility..
August 1 & 2, 2024 is our Annual Educator’s Retreat, once again featuring Father Joe Kempf, a dynamic speaker, author and storyteller. This retreat offers a one-day option or an overnight option – you choose! And if you are not an educator, how cool would it be to pay for your favorite educator to attend? I mean, if anyone deserves a time of refreshment & renewal before a new school year begins, it has to be our beloved educators!
December 6 – 8, 2024 is our Annual Advent Retreat and registration will be open soon. For now, just know that the terrific trio of Steve Givens, Lucia Signorelli, and Fr. Tom Santen will be our presenters, and their working theme is: The Word is Still Becoming Flesh. So, you know, you might want to mark your calendar for this one.
COMING IN 2025 (just in case you’re a planner like us)
Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9 am – 7 pm is our second annual Seeds of Healing Retreat, which is designed to help anyone who experienced loss of a loved one to suicide or any other tragedy, since the pain is something that no one can prepare for. The roller coaster of emotions is enough to make one doubt God’s presence in the situation. Join us in the journey through all of our emotions and come out renewed with confidence in God’s love and care for each one of us.
Friday and Saturday, January 24 & 25, 2025 we will hold our first annual Scrapbooking Event. More details will be forthcoming, but for now we encourage you to mark your calendar!
Friday and Saturday, June 13 & 14, 2025 we will once again host our Hearts of Mary Retreat for Mothers and Daughters! This retreat will begin at 7 pm on Friday evening for those who would like to experience a bit of programming and spend the night. Though if works better for you to come on Saturday only, that would be great to! The retreat will end at 4:30 pm on Saturday just in case you’d like to attend 5:00 Mass at your home parish or a parish near our retreat center.
Friday thru Sunday, July 11 – 13, 2025 we will host our fourth annual Married Couple’s Retreat. Whether you’ve been married one day, one hundred years, or anywhere in between – all are invited to attend. Please mark your calendar, and look for more details coming in the future.
