Hunger for God – A Good Friday Day of Recollection

Time:
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Calendar:

Please join us for a Good Friday day of recollection at the Marianist Retreat and Conference Center on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 9 am – 1 pm. Msgr. Michael Witt will lead us through two presentations and some time for reflection and meditation, focusing on the symbolism of Biblical meals. Attendees will also have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and/or Spiritual Direction, if desired. We will conclude with a light Lenten lunch, featuring baked tilapia -which is what scholars believe Jesus served his apostles! Though this event technically ends at 1 pm, folks are welcome to stay as late as 3 pm, walking our beautiful grounds and/or spending some quiet time in our peaceful chapel. Or, if you would like to attend your own parish’s Good Friday services, you will have plenty of time to do so after this event ends! Cost is $35 per person, and registration is now open! Please note, however, that our registration deadline is Noon on Monday, April 3, 2023.
