MRCC Appoints Jennifer Duncan as New Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Marianist Retreat & Conference Center (MRCC) is pleased to announce that Jennifer Duncan has been appointed Executive Director, according to Dominic Lozano, Board Chair.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Jennifer as the new Executive Director of the Marianist Retreat & Conference Center in Eureka, Missouri, and are excited to build the retreat center’s future with her,” said Dominic. “Jen brings a deep faith, a passion for the retreat center, and an even deeper passion for providing retreatants an opportunity to encounter our Lord in a real, unobstructed, and authentic way.”

“My long-standing love for the Marianist Retreat & Conference Center and its mission has been a driving force in my professional journey,” said Jennifer. “From my first visit as a retreatant in the 1990s to becoming the Director of Hospitality in 2021, my commitment to the center’s mission has only grown. Witnessing the profound spiritual experiences of individuals at MRCC has fueled my dedication to ensuring the center’s continued growth and success. I am passionate about the center and our mission to provide resources, space, and tranquility to enable everyone to experience healing and life-changing encounters with Jesus.”

The Marianist Retreat Ministry of the Province of the United States offers a wide range of retreat and educational experiences that enable a deepening of faith, a growth in prayer, and a motivation toward personal mission, leading to the building of God’s Kingdom on earth. “Jennifer Duncan’s commitment to our Marianist Retreat Ministry is apparent in her gifts of hospitality shown to MRCC guests,” said Bro. Jesse O’Neill, Assistant for Education to the Provincial Council of the Marianist Province of the United States. “Her leadership of the center at this time of growth is most welcome.”

“As Executive Director, I am excited to focus on expanding our friend-raising and fundraising efforts in the coming year,” said Jennifer. “My goal is to create meaningful connections with our community, to continue to build a network of support to sustain and enhance our building and grounds, and to increase the opportunities that provide the place and programs where people can find peace and deepen their relationship with Christ. Your prayers are appreciated as we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.”
