With the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary as our inspiration\, we will e xplore how our marriages can more powerfully reveal the light of Christ to the world. As Jesus proclaimed\, ""The light shines in the darkness\, and the darkness has not overcome it." And that is good news\, indeed.\ n\nWhen: Friday\, July 10\, 2026 through Sunday\, July 12\, 2026 (doors will open at 3 pm on Friday\, we will kick off with dinner at 5 pm on Fr iday\, and this event will end on Sunday at 10:30 am)\n\nWhere: Mariani st Retreat and Conference Center\, 4000 Hwy 109\, Eureka\, MO 63025\n\nP rice: $376 per Couple (see registration form below)\n\nDetails: \n\nAl l married couples – whether married one day\, one century\, or anywher e in between - are invited to our 5th annual Married Couple's retreat he re at the Marianist Retreat and Conference Center the weekend of July 10 - 12\, 2026.\n\nThis year we will explore how the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary - The Baptism of Jesus\, The Wedding at Cana\, The Proclamat ion of the Kingdom\, The Transfiguration\, and the Institution of the Eu charist - speak directly to our marriages.\n\nDoors will open at 3 pm on Friday afternoon\, and the retreat officially begins with dinner at 5 p m. Our first session launches at 6:15 pm in our Conference Room\, and we will conclude by 10:30 am on Sunday. The cost per couple is $376\, and we can accommodate 40 couples. The first 20 couples to register get dibs on a room with a queen bed\, and the last 20 couples who register will be in rooms that have two twin beds\, though they can be pushed together .\n\nWe will offer large group presentations\, opportunities for small g roup discussion\, chances to chat one-on-one with your spouse\, communal prayer experiences\, time for private prayer and recreation\, prayer mi nistry with our retreat leaders\, the Sacrament of Reconciliation\, Ador ation\, and Mass. Since we want this retreat to be what you most need\, attendance at all sessions will be optional\; please allow the Spirit to lead you! We will also conclude each evening with some social time\, so please bring your own favorite adult beverages should you care to imbib e.\n\nOur retreat leaders for the weekend are Barb &\; Larry Kendrick \, Lisa &\; Paul Masek\, and Carla and Eric Struckhoff.\n\nBarb and L arry are members of Incarnate Word Parish in Chesterfield. They have bee n married 45 years\, have 3 children\, enjoy traveling\, Adoration toget her\, and being grandparents to 8 beautiful angels. They enjoy watching their grandkids’ sporting events\, having sleepovers\, and pool time. Barb is a volunteer at the Marianist Retreat Center and Larry serves on our retreat center’s Board of Directors.\n\nLisa &\; Paul are membe rs of Incarnate Word Parish in Chesterfield. They have been married for 36 years\, have four children\, enjoy hiking &\; traveling\, and love to laugh. Paul is the program director at the Marianist Retreat Center\ , directs the ministry of the MORE Team\, and Lisa works at Parkway West Middle School for Special School District as a para – while helping a t the Marianist Retreat Center as her schedule allows.\n\nCarla &\; E ric are members of St. Clement of Rome Parish in Des Peres. They have be en married for 28 years\, have 7 children\, and enjoy evening walks\, at tending kids’ sporting events\, and watching movies.
