SUMMARY:Seeing God in All Creation
DESCRIPTION:The Marianist Retreat and Conference Center is thrilled to b
 e offering a weekend retreat for anyone and everyone who is interested! 
 The theme of this retreat is “Seeing God in All Creation” and this r
 etreat will be based upon Laudato Si\, a Latin phrase that means “Prai
 sed Be” - and Laudato Si is also the name of Pope Francis’ second en
 cyclical letter\, which is subtitled “on care for our common home.” 
 The encyclical\, and therefore this retreat\, is addressed to “every p
 erson living on this planet” and calls for urgent action to protect th
 e Earth from human damage\, while identifying the current ecological cri
 sis as a “summons to profound interior conversion.”\n\nBeginning at 
 7 pm on Friday evening October 11\, and ending at 11 am on Sunday\, Octo
 ber 13\, this retreat will include large group presentations\, small gro
 up discussion\, four meals (three on Saturday and one on Sunday)\, and p
 lenty of time to enjoy our beautiful grounds. We are located on 120 acre
 s in Wildwood\, MO and offers ample opportunities to enjoy the beauty of
  God’s creation through personal reflection\, outdoor prayer experienc
 es\, and hiking.\n\nOur retreat leader is Diana Gorham\, a seasoned retr
 eat leader and a vowed Lay Marianist. She and her team will explore seei
 ng God in creation from a Catholic\, Biblical\, and Marianist perspectiv
 e\, though all are welcome\, regardless of worldview.\n\nDiana will be j
 oined Eileen Wolfington (M. Ed.\, Self Care Facilitator).\n\nThe cost of
  this retreat is $285 for a single room or $375 for a married couple sha
