DESCRIPTION:Coming Home to Christ: The Journey Together\nDecember 8-10\,
  2023\nThis weekend retreat in early Advent (Friday evening through Sund
 ay after lunch) will focus on our personal relationship with Christ\, th
 e still-point in an ever-turning world that often leaves us feeling con
 fused\, disconnected\, lonely and lost. Through scripture-opening teachi
 ng\, experiences of various kinds of contemplative prayer\, quiet reflec
 tion and small group sharing\, the retreat will encourage those present 
 to consider what it means to embrace Jesus as their center and true home
 . The weekend will include time and space for both silence and fellowshi
 p.\nRev. Tom Santen has been priest of the Archdiocese of St. Louis for 
 53 years. He has served as a parish priest (including 18 years as pastor
  of St. Joseph Parish in Manchester\, MO)\, a high school religion teach
 er\, a college campus minister\, a youth retreat director\, spiritual di
 rector\, director of continuing formation of priests\, and personnel dir
 ector for priests. He has been involved in retreat work throughout his p
 riesthood. He is “retired” and living at St. Simon the Apostle paris
 h\, serving as the Holy Spirit beckons him.\n\nLucia Signorelli is a spi
 ritual director who has served as a retreat director\, coach\, and a lon
 g-time educator. Her Catholic education ministry included teaching junio
 r and senior high school\, elementary school administration and serving 
 as Regional Director of Schools for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.  \n\
 nSteve Givens is a retreat and spiritual director\, a widely published w
 riter on issues of faith and spirituality\, and a prayer companion for t
 hose praying the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. He serves a
 s executive director of the Bridges Foundation\, which offers the Spirit
 ual Exercises in the greater St. Louis region.\nAdditional Details\nDoor
 s will open at 5:00 pm on Friday night\, December 8\, 2023 and the retre
 at will begin at 7:00 pm sharp. The retreat will end on Sunday\, Decembe
 r 10\, 2023 after lunch is served.\n\nEven though the retreat begins on 
 Friday\, December 8\, which is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception\, 
 we will not be having Mass on Friday since our retreat begins so late in
  the date. However\, the retreat will conclude with Sunday Mass on Decem
 ber 10.\n\nThe cost for the entire retreat is $269 per person\, which in
 cludes all presentations\, accommodations\, five delicious meals (3 on S
 aturday and 2 on Sunday)\, and the use of our entire retreat facility an
 d beautiful\, holy grounds. Any married couples who register get a bit o
