Marianist Retreat Center’s Upcoming Events

We invite you to prayerfully consider attending any – or all – of these events here at our retreat center that are open to the general public –

We consider our Inspire Monthly Marianist Prayer Gatherings to be mini-retreats, as they include praise and worship led by local musicians, inspiring messages from gifted presenters, group discussion, time for mingling, and snacks. These events are free, and all are welcome. Please note that we generally meet once every month, though days and dates vary so that we don’t disturb guests who have reserved our facility.

Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 9 am – 2:30 pm we are hosting a professional inservice focused on the intelligent use of Artificial Intelligence in Ministry. Though this event is for anyone involved in ministry, we especially welcome school and church staff members, teachers, youth ministers, core team members, retreat leaders, DREs, CREs, and anyone else who is curious about a pastorally sound approach to the use of artificial intelligence.

May 1, 8, & 15 of 2024 – For the first time ever! A Three-Part Series on the Marianist Founders will be held here at the Marianist Retreat Center on the evenings of May 1, 8, & 15 from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm each evening. Come to one, come to two, come to all three! Admission is free and no registration is required.

June 14 & 15, 2024 Hearts of Mary Mother/Daughter Retreat

July 12 – 14, 2024, Annual Married Couple’s Retreat

Thursday, August 1 & Friday, August 2, 2024 is our Annual Educator’s Retreat, once again featuring Father Joe Kempf, a dynamic speaker, author and storyteller. This retreat offers a one-day option or an overnight option – you choose! And if you are not an educator, how cool would it be to pay for your favorite educator to attend?

December 6-8, 2024 is our Annual Advent Retreat

COMING IN 2025 (in case you’re a planner like us)

Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9 am – 7 pm is our second annual Seeds of Healing Retreat (this link will take you to the information on the 2024 event, for now). Losing a loved one to suicide or any tragic death is a pain that no one can prepare for. The roller coaster of emotions is enough to make one doubt God’s presence in the situation. This day of reflection is designed to help in the journey through these emotions and come out renewed with confidence in God’s love and care for each one of us.
